Long before BBDO Warsaw morphed into Molecular Worldwide, Mateusz Wójcik was born in the attic of a hospital in a small town in Lower Silesia. In 2000, he joined BBDO and has been working at Molecular ever since.
Bald, mischievous, and overly inquisitive, Mateusz doesn’t live for work alone. Quite the opposite. You can often find him in the kitchen, on a walk, with a camera in hand, with a synthesizer keyboard under his fingers, or with and hands covered in glue and small pieces of newspapers. Mateusz writes various short stories, maintains too many friendships at once, and visits art galleries more often than shopping malls.
Fifty years of life is enough to find a hobby. It’s worse when there are too many. That’s why Mateusz isn’t truly great at anything he does. But he’s good enough. Good enough for his columns to be published in Usta magazine. Good enough for his story to appear in the online magazine “Pole”, Good enough to show his collages at an exhibition at Mysia 3 in Warsaw.
Oh, one more thing. Mateusz has a cat named Bączek. He takes her for a walk every morning and evening around the courtyards of Mokotów. See you there!
