The last eight years have been tough for many Poles, especially those who feel uncomfortable in the body they were born in. Transgender people have become the target of political and media attacks, which have made their already difficult lives even harder.
Together with the We The Parents foundation, we set out to reach the politicians responsible for these attacks. We recorded conversations and questions from the parents of transgender people. We asked them publicly by broadcasting the films online, on social media, and finally, by sending them directly to the politicians. None of them responded, but tens of thousands of other people supported our heroes with kind words and understanding.
The entire campaign received enormous media coverage and helped create unprecedented interest in the website of the We The Parents foundation.
